State Department Is Head of Subversive Snake

Liberty at Home and Abroad Depends on Exposure

I recently wrote that USAID subversion is worse than its waste. In a recent House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) hearing, former USAID Administrator Andrew Natsios confirmed, under persistent questioning by Representative Maria Salazar (R-FL), the State Department (DOS) directs USAID.

Now is the moment to expose DOS and USAID subversion and other crimes around the world. DOS and USAID crimes, including child trafficking, are widespread and pervasive. DOS is still deep-state dominated, and they have subverted other societies and turned their covert actions on us at home.

Building on data already in Congress, investigations and an ongoing series of hearings about this subversion would shock and disgust the public. This will create momentum in support of President Donald Trump’s significant reform of the permanent federal bureaucracy—AKA the deep state. Doing so is indispensable to rescuing our liberty by significantly reducing the power of the enemy within.

Democrats and their media partners have attacked Trump’s actions to reform the federal bureaucracy. These attacks have included outright lies, scare tactics, and Democrats’ usual demonization.

Democrats demonstrated their fanaticism and contempt for Americans at Trump’s March 4 address to Congress. They doubled down on all their positions that contributed to losing the presidency and the Congress.

The cabal that installed Joe Biden in the White House and controlled his regime also used the deep state to undermine Trump’s first term. The deep state is the cabal’s principal means to achieve its agenda of destroying our constitutional republic and transforming it into a dictatorship.

The unscrupulous cabal understands the resistance it now leads can destroy the Democrat Party. It cares only for its subversive agenda and not the party it co-opted as a vehicle to achieve it. If deep-state crimes are sufficiently exposed, the Democrat Party will either become irrelevant or expunge the cabal and install new leadership.

According to reports, Acting Director of USAID Peter Marocco met on successive days with members of HFAC and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Believing they have uncovered a pattern of illegal activity, Marocco’s team is preparing potential criminal referrals. Pressed by Trace Gallagher after Marocco’s briefing, Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) said there could be crimes, which investigations would determine.

HFAC chairman Brian Mast (R-FL) commented that USAID’s structure makes accountability difficult. In answer to Cornyn’s question about USAID accountability, Marocco answered, “There’s no system in place right now requiring that.”

Former DOS official and Foundation for Freedom Online Director Mike Benz stated that USAID used $1.5 billion of US taxpayer money to bring illegal immigrants to the United States. DOS, with USAID in tow, imposed socialist Bernardo Arévalo as president of Guatemala to keep it open for the illegal flows of migrants and narcotics.

The openness of the DOS-USAID assault on Guatemala during the Biden regime and Guatemala’s resistance to it make the country the place to begin investigations. Candidate Arévalo went from obscurity in the polls to president-elect in the 2023 elections with numerous irregularities and blatant DOS and USAID interference.

More than 1,000 complaints obliged Attorney General Consuelo Porras to investigate the election. DOS tried and failed to prevent Porras from investigating. Knowing the fraud had been discovered after Porras’s office performed court-ordered searches and seizures regarding the election, DOS and USAID resorted to violence.

Then–Secretary of State Antony Blinken and USAID Administrator Samantha Power, via pawns in Guatemala, caused death, economic damage, disruption of government, and chaos. USAID has financed the NGO 48 Cantones, a violent arm of the Biden regime. The NGO sought to intimidate Guatemalans into accepting the Biden agenda of dislodging Porras.

DOS called their pawns’ actions peaceful protests. It condemned a high-court order to forcibly remove demonstrators who had been blocking access to the Attorney General’s Office for more than two weeks.

The violent protesters’ key demand was Porras’s removal from office. Failing through violence to achieve it, DOS attempted to intimidate Guatemalan congressmen to pass a law they believed would permit Arévalo to remove Porras. Blinken and his assistant Brian Nichols each did not deny this under questioning in separate HFAC hearings in 2024.

The Justice Department and Congress should investigate DOS and USAID actions in Guatemala. With a credible forum, current and former DOS officials and those from other government departments will feel comfortable offering testimony. Other countries would also come forward with their stories of DOS and USAID criminality, creating a snowball effect.

Trump has public support for reforming the federal bureaucracy, mostly based on misuse of taxpayer money. The US public will be shocked and disgusted by egregious crimes investigations can expose. This will significantly increase public support for dismantling the deep state and helping to recover and preserve our liberty.
