The Soles Cartel—run by Venezuela’s dictatorship—was instrumental in the 2020 electoral fraud that put Joe Biden in the White House. This is according to best-selling author Ralph Pezzullo’s new book: Stolen Elections: The Takedown of Democracies Worldwide.
The Cartel is more than a narcotrafficking operation; it is an unconventional state-mafia coalition at war with us. The Cartel has colluded with the Biden regime, the intelligence community, and the State Department (DOS). The latter two continue the collusion, making the Cartel our gravest national security threat.
Pezzullo shares findings from two whistleblowers: former CIA officer Gary Berntsen and DEA and Justice Department (DOJ) investigator Martin Rodil. They penetrated the Cartel and obtained proof of its electoral manipulation in 72 countries. When polls showed then-President Hugo Chávez would lose the 2004 recall referendum, his officials recruited an engineering team to rig the results.
Chávez was so pleased with the theft that he provided taxpayer funds for Chavistas to buy companies that administered voting machines. As explained in Pezaullo’s book, Chávez’s team developed software to remotely access and alter election results while erasing the evidence.
The Venezuelans began to flip elections in the United States in 2006 and have not stopped. They succeeded in many elections, including 2020, but failed in 2024. Technical problems in Serbia prevented them from altering swing-state results to favor Kamala Harris.
In a podcast with me, Berntsen and Pezzullo said DOGE disclosures revealed our foreign-affairs institutions funded voting machines running Venezuelan software. They did this abroad with billions of taxpayer dollars “to steal elections to turn countries to the left. It was 99 percent of the time to the left.”
Berntsen said Georgia’s 2020 election was stolen for the Russian-favored party by machines using Venezuelan software. The US embassy compelled the Georgians to use voting machines. DOS’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Bureau colluded with Guatemala’s electoral authority in its 2023 fraud.
Bernsten and Rodil showed an FBI officer their four-hour presentation in 2023. He told them to flee Washington, DC, because senior FBI officers would destroy their presentation and prosecute them to suppress its revelations. When Berntsen and Rodil declined to back down, the officer suggested they go to Congress and the media. However, “99 percent wanted nothing to do with [them],” likely given concerns about being investigated by the FBI.
Berntsen and Rodil pressed on with a DOJ US attorney and offered to give him access to their witnesses: “[The attorney] was shocked … His people were horrified … They sent [their notes] to the DOJ … and told us to wait.” Berntsen added, however, that the DOJ did not utilize those witnesses. The Biden DOJ wanted to remain in power and beat Donald Trump in 2024.
Berntsen learned the FBI was investigating him, including asking what Russians he and Rodil were working with. Berntsen moved with his family to Switzerland to finish his work.
Berntsen said the intelligence community (IC) leaked their identities to partner cartel members. The agency-source relationship is “cover for the collusion the [IC] has done with the Venezuelan cartels over the years.” Berntsen added that the Cartel is “the largest transnational criminal organization in the history of mankind.… worth $2.7 trillion.”
Pezzullo clarified: “it is not only Venezuela … They work in concert with Cuba, China, Russia, Serbia, and Iran … [This] international criminal cartel has been corrupting our government and our intelligence community … and manipulating the results of our elections right under our noses.”
Pezzullo’s book explains that Berntsen and Rodil gave Sydney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and others electoral-fraud information after the 2020 election. However, they told Trump’s team they needed time to investigate further—to recruit sources regarding the criminal conspiracy and make a solid case.
What Trump’s team released under great pressure was correct. However, the lack of sufficient documentation enabled people to discredit and sue them. The proof of 2020 electoral fraud is now solid.
Berntsen says the voting-machine companies have tried to intimidate him and Rodil. They will not sue them because that would draw attention to the proof. Berntsen says he would need a bus to move all the witnesses. The Trump DOJ has taken testimony from a dozen of them.
Berntsen says the US government underestimated the cartel, which “teamed up with the Cuban intelligence service.” Pezzullo says this and the Biden regime’s open-border policy, including child trafficking, was part of a plan to consolidate a one-party state.
The cartel, especially because of its US-government partners, is our most pressing national security threat. All the things Trump is achieving will be temporary without dismantling the Cartel. This requires removing and prosecuting IC and DOS traitors who have colluded with the Cartel in Latin America and helping those countries repair the damage done.
