US Embassy Does Soles Cartel Bidding in Guatemala

President Donald Trump Can Reverse Treachery

US Ambassador to Guatemala Tobin Bradley and Deputy Chief of Mission Patrick Ventrell are among the State Department (DOS) traitors who have colluded with the Soles Cartel. Ventrell threatened Supreme Court (the Court) magistrates to vote as he demanded for their new president, who assumed office on October 13.

Ventrell is effective because the magistrates know he and Bradley keep President Bernardo Arévalo illegally in power. The magistrates mistakenly assume this has US President Donald Trump’s support.

Bradley’s and Ventrall’s actions would disgust Trump. The magistrates could provoke Trump into paying attention by denouncing Ventrell.

The Biden regime, DOS, and their Cartel partners fraudulently imposed Arévalo to help them flood the United States with illegal migrants and narcotics. The land route for narcotics to the United States has become more important for the Cartel with Trump bombing narco vessels on the water. Guatemala is key to the land route.

Guatemala’s judiciary is important to the Cartel and to Trump. To keep the land route open, the Cartel controls the judiciary. Bradley and Ventrell enable this by intimidation.

Trump can close the route for narcotics by removing DOS traitors and encouraging Guatemala to apply its laws.

Magistrate Carlos Contreras heads the branch of the Court that forwards criminal cases against government officials to Congress. Congressmen can then choose to remove the suspects’ legal immunity. Contreras, a member of the DOS criminal coalition for more than a decade, has protected Arévalo and comrades by blocking cases against them from going to Congress.

The Court’s president is a crucial power center. He can also keep such complaints from being sent to Congress. In addition, the Court president presides over the nominating commission for attorney general and the Court’s appointment to the Constitutional Court (CC). The CC is the judiciary’s last word on constitutional matters. The next Court president will preside over both functions in the first half of 2026.

Contreras has apparently just applied for US visas for himself and his family. Granting them would be an embassy message that they reward their friends. Correspondingly, rejecting visas is how the embassy punishes its enemies.

Ventrell, Bradley, and other DOS Cartel agents continue undermining Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump to secure the three noted appointments for the Cartel’s criminal agenda. Arévalo will misuse Guatemalan taxpayer funds to secure those appointments and consolidate his power in 2026.

If this proceeds, Arévalo will be able to jail his political opponents regardless of evidence or law with a subservient judiciary and attorney general. Guatemala will become another Nicaragua.

Nobody understands weaponizing the judicial system better than Trump. His son Eric, in his book Under Siege (2025), quotes Trump after the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago home in 2022:

“Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those countries.”

It is inconceivable that Trump, trying to return the United States to its founding values, would want the deep state that victimized him to do the same to Guatemala on his watch.

The Court magistrate who on October 10 had 10 votes out of 13 committed to her candidacy would not block complaints against Arévalo and comrades. She would not violate her oath to give Arévalo a subservient CC magistrate and attorney general.

To keep her from becoming Court president and to give Arévalo dictatorial power, Ventrell blatantly interceded in the Court president selection. Ventrell threatened judicial action and visa cancellation for Luis Corado. Igmaín Galicia also flipped after Ventrell’s intervention, and this left the candidate favoring judicial independence one vote short of the required two-thirds majority.

Outgoing Court President Teodulo Cifuentes convened another session for October 12. The magistrates did not vote because neither the judicial-independence nominee nor Ventrell’s group had the nine votes necessary for a candidate to become president.

Cifentes ended his term, and Carlos Lucero became acting president. Lucero can now remove and place judges at will to protect embassy friends and punish embassy enemies.

The president of Congress, Nery Ramos, is a long-time member of DOS’s criminal group. He arranged for embassy-agent Lucero to receive the most votes in the Congress for the 2024–2029 term. That made Lucero acting president if the current situation occurred.

If enough magistrates decide to reject DOS intimidation, they can elect a new president and help Guatemala recover its sovereignty. Unfortunately, this appears unlikely, leaving an awakening from Rubio and/or Trump as Guatemala’s only hope. If they remove the DOS traitors, Guatemala will have a chance to recover from Cartel, Biden regime, and DOS damage and become a strong US ally.
