In 2021, a public school fired Jim McMurtry, a 40-year teacher in British Columbia, and he subsequently was banned from practicing his profession. According to the allegation, McMurtry misinformed his students about the purported discovery of 215 dead children in a mass grave at a residential school. Although no bodies have been found at the site, daring to question the genocide narrative has left him in legal limbo.
McMurtry states his legal case is far from over, since there is no evidence against him, just mob justice. In this episode, McMurtry shares his story and why he is running for Parliament in the April 28 election.
McMurtry is raising his voice through the People’s Party of Canada (PPC). His campaign focuses on defending free speech and Canadian pride. He does not want to see top-down sweeping changes and would rather focus on identifying and preserving the best of heartland Canadian values, those that attracted so many great people to settle in Canada.
