Everyone who voted for Donald Trump in 2024 should vote for Republicans in the November midterms to defeat the anti-US Democrat agenda. Trump needs a Republican-controlled Congress to give us a chance to continue reclaiming our culture, prosperity, and liberty.
Classicist and historian Victor Davis Hanson describes in detail and with great insight in The Counterrevolution the systematic destruction of our governing system. It would help save our republic if every American adult were to read this New York Times best seller before the midterms.
Trump is leading the counterrevolution against the leftist revolution that intensified under Barack Obama and especially Joe Biden. Their leftist revolution consists of institutional capture, open borders, identity politics, administrative state expansion, high deficits, and promoting criminality, DEI, the war on energy, and other destructive policies.
Globalists have taken over our institutions and exported US jobs, enriching the elites at the expense of the working class. Trump is reversing this and reindustrializing the United States to maintain the US world preeminence Democrats want to destroy.
Trump’s America-first agenda existentially threatens the anti-US Democrat agenda and is why the Biden regime illegally persecuted him to keep him from becoming president again. Trump represents his supporters—demonized by Democrats as racist and insurrectionist—when he brashly confronts those who would destroy our system and give themselves permanent power.
Hanson describes an establishment that aligns with the Democrat attempt, as Obama promised, to transform our system. This establishment consists of elite universities, legacy media, big-tech platforms, large corporations and NGOs, Hollywood, professional sports, K-12 education bureaucracies, and the federal bureaucracy, including intelligence agencies.
Biden added about $8.4 trillion to the national debt. This included the partisan $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan. Under Biden, hundreds of billions were lost to fraud, and energy subsidies were far more than projected, with questionable results.
Democrats flooded our country with illegal aliens, gave them government services, and ballooned the national debt. Now Democrats are insulting our intelligence by making affordability a major midterm issue.
The establishment has helped create a negative perception of the economy and inflation and that Trump cares more about foreign wars and corporate interests than about the average American. The evidence undercuts this perception.
The Atlanta Fed estimated GDP growth as of October 1 at a healthy 3.7 percent, above Biden’s 2.8 percent average for his last three years. After Trump left him a 2.1 percent inflation rate in 2021, Biden’s spending led to a 9.1 percent inflation in 2022 and an average of 5 percent for his last three years. Under Trump, inflation dropped into the mid 2s in 2025 and is now at 3.4 percent for the past year. Core inflation—without food and energy—is at 2.4 percent versus the 4.8 percent average for Biden’s last three years.
Trump acted militarily against Iran to prevent its fanatical regime from obtaining nuclear weapons. Sufficient evidence indicates that Iran would use nukes it was working to acquire, constituting a threat to US and world security.
Trump tried all diplomatic possibilities to keep Iran from acquiring nukes. Trump knew military action against Iran would decrease Republican chances in the midterms. He acted to protect our country. Once Trump resolves the Iran situation, inflation should be as it was in his first term.
Democrats are the opposite according to Senator John Fetterman (D-PA), putting their power above country. Hanson explains that “Many outspoken Democrats ended up de facto rooting for Iran to humiliate [Trump], and by association their own country as well.”
With taxpayer money, Obama and Biden subsidized their globalist allies as well as Iran and anti-US organizations. For Trump, this was subsidizing our own destruction, which he is stopping.
The benefits from Trump bringing trillions of dollars in investment to our country should begin to appear in the next two years. This change will be structural, not cyclical. Democrats will try to reverse it if we give them power.
Democrats have tried to scare us about artificial intelligence (AI)—now super intelligence (SI)—and about data centers for midterm advantage. Democrats’ proposed pause would have benefited China. Trump presided over the September 29 Super Intelligence Summit, attended by top tech leaders, that produced a one-page, voluntary commitment. It does not pause development and calls for controls and audits to promote safety.
Trump invited leaders to the summit who had been critical of him, showing his practical style of getting the job done for the country. He also said the companies “will be very generous to [local communities], both financially and otherwise.”
Any complaint against Trump pales in comparison to the Democrats’ anti-US agenda. I am disappointed at the visible lack of accountability for government officials—prior to and under the current administration—who have violated their oaths. However, not voting or voting for Democrats spells further impunity for these crimes instead of accountability.
Democrats want to bring back the anti-US globalist agenda of multiculturalism, DEI, open borders, higher taxes, and green energy tyranny that Trump is reversing. A Republican-controlled Congress will keep us on the road to prosperity.
